What personal data we collect and why we collect it

In general, the only thing I collect about you is your email address, if you ask me to, for the purposes of sending out two emails per new book.  The first email is to announce the book’s upcoming launch and any contests or cool things planned around that launch.  The second is to announce the actual launch of the book and where you can get it.  That’s it.   I really value my privacy and I don’t want to impose on yours.   That said,  this is a website and there are some items that you should be aware of.  I’ve listed them below.

Some activities may also include the actor’s IP address (login attempts, for example) and user agent.
Activity Tracked: Login attempts/actions, post and page update and publish actions, comment/pingback submission and management actions, plugin and theme management actions, widget updates, user management actions, and the modification of other various site settings and options.
